The House Fund — Official Rules

1. Sponsor

The House Fund is sponsored by MI Home Hub. Contact information and full sponsor details will be published here.

2. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of Michigan who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of MI Home Hub and their immediate family members are not eligible.

3. How to Enter

There are two methods of entry:

• Project submission (3 entries, plus 2 bonus with photos): Submit a home improvement project to the MI Home Hub Project Showcase at mihomehub.com/projects/submit. Upon approval by MI Home Hub staff, 3 entries are automatically created for the current drawing cycle. If the project includes at least one photo of the completed work, 2 additional entries are awarded on the same project record, for a total of 5 entries. No further action is required.
• Free entry (1 entry): Complete the entry form at mihomehub.com/drawing. No purchase is required. One free entry per person per cycle.

All entries within a cycle have equal odds of being drawn. Project entries and free entries are weighted equally in the drawing. Project submissions simply earn more entries, which increases the submitter's chances.

Limit one free entry per person per drawing cycle. Project entries are limited to one per approved project. Duplicate entries will be removed.

4. Drawing Cycles

Entries accumulate within a drawing cycle. A cycle remains open until 20 project submissions reach approved status. When the 20th project is approved, the cycle closes and a drawing is conducted. A new cycle opens immediately. Cycles are identified by sequential number (Cycle 1, Cycle 2, and so on). There is no calendar deadline or monthly close.

5. Prize

One winner per drawing cycle receives the prize package described above. Prize is non-transferable and has no cash equivalent other than as stated. MI Home Hub reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

6. Winner Notification and Verification

The drawn winner will be contacted via the email address provided at the time of entry. If a winner cannot be reached within seven days, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

Before the prize can be paid, the winner must complete three verification items:

• Signed affidavit of eligibility and liability release.
• Government-issued photo identification.
• Signed media release authorizing MI Home Hub to use the winner's name, city, and project in promotional materials.

All three items must be received within seven days of notification. If any item is not received within the seven-day window, the prize is forfeited and an alternate winner is selected.

7. Winner Display

Winners are displayed on the House Fund page as first name, last initial, and city. Full names and street addresses are never published. Each winner entry links to the project that earned the entry and to the pro business that did the work. Winner details are displayed only after the media release has been signed.

8. Privacy

Personal information collected for entry purposes is used only to administer the drawing and contact winners. It will not be sold or shared with third parties except as required by law.

9. General Conditions

MI Home Hub reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the drawing at any time. Void where prohibited. These rules are subject to change; the current version is always available at this URL.
